Teacher/School: Luke Shore. Eastern Suburbs School of Music.
Hi, my name is Gabriella Andrews I’m 10 years old and live in Melbourne Australia. I started learning to play drums when I was 3.5 years old. I love listening to and playing Jazz-Fusion, Funk and Prog-Rock.
Some of my favorite drummers are Australian drummer David Jones, Anika Niles, Cindy Blackman Santana, Simon Phillips, Dennis Chambers and Virgil Donati,
I love going to school and spending time with my friends. I also love horse riding and love learning how to ride a horse really well.
I’m looking forward to seeing all the wonderful female drummers from all around the world and I wish everyone the best of luck, in the competition. Gabi.

Hi Gabi, I just wanted to say ‘great job!’ on this video! I totally forgot about my entry lol. My Dad reminded me yesterday that the contest was closed to new contestants so I wanted to come on and check out your video and I am glad I did! Good luck!

Hi Madeline, Thanks for your message and good wishes. I’m really glad you liked my video. There was some very difficult parts and I had to do lots of practice to get them down, but I think it turned out okay.
My Dad was not that happy with the mix he did on my drums, but I don’t think it’s too bad. Nice to hear from you, hugs Gabi.
