I am Tuna ILGAZI. I have been a Literature Teacher for fourteen years. I want to share my story pertaining to drums. My fasnication with the drum started in elementary school. I used to watch the marching band with admiration. Every time the drumstick beat the drum, that sound would arouse excitement in me. This is how my story with the drum began. Years later, my passion for rhythm brought me back to the drums. Six months ago I started to take drums training for the first time. For the last six months, I have a pen in one hand and a drumstick in the other. I am very excited to journey through the fascinating adventure of the drum. My friendship with the drum will continue until I reach the age when I can’t afford to hold a drumstick and until my hands will tremble. Best Regards

Ben Tuna İLGAZİ. On dört yıldır eğitim camiasında Edebiyat öğretmeni olarak görev yapmaktayım. Davulla olan çok yeni , aslına bakarsanız çok eskiye dayanan hikayemi sizinle paylaşmak isterim. Davula olan hayranlığım ilkokul sıralarına kadar uzanmakta. Bando takımını hayranlıkla izleyişimi ve bagetin (tabii o dönemlerde sopa diyordumJ )davula her vuruşundaki o sesin bende uyandırdığı heyecanı bugün bile aynı tazeliğiyle hissetmekteyim. Davulla olan hikayemiz işte böyle başladı ve yıllar sonra içimdeki ritim sevdası beni davulla tekrar buluşturdu.
Son altı aydır bir elimde kalemimi bir elimde bagetimi tutuyorum. Davulun büyüleyici serüveninde yolculuk yapmaktan müthiş bir heyecan ve haz duymaktayım. Baget tutmaya gücümün yetmeyeceği, ellerimin titreyeceği yaşa gelinceye değin davulla olan bu dostluğumuz devam edecek gibi gözüküyor. Sevgiler…
