I am 56 years old now.
I met drums in the brass band club in junior high school. I even formed a band with like-minded friends.
My job has nothing to do with music, but for many years I went to lessons three times a month, and my life was spent with the drums.
For some reason, there are more sad and painful things than happy things in life. At times like that, I feel like I was able to keep myself together thanks to the people around me, the music, and the drums.
No matter what, if you keep doing it, it will give you the strength to move forward when something happens in your life.
what to keep doing If it’s the drums, that’s great. I think so.
My original song, “Bluses go forward” is a song with that kind of feeling.
how is it? Can you hear me
Nicely played. You have a good feel and play musically. Playing open handed I wondered if you are naturally left handed.
Thank you very much for your comment. It will be very encouraging!
I am normally right handed. However, if it feels better on the left, I do it on the left. I’ve been playing the drums with an open hand almost from the beginning.
Really nice feel for the tune. Like your fills a lot. You outro roll was quite effective. I use drumming as a release for the sadness in life also. Part of my family moved to Chiba 7 years ago so I haven’t seen my grand children all through elementary and middle school. They are happy so that’s the important thing. By the way, I thought you might be left handed, too, as another comment wondered. Thanks for sharing an original.
Thank you for your comment. I am so honored! !
My uncle, aunt and cousins live in Chiba prefecture. The cousin’s daughter was playing the drums at the high school club.
This was simply beautiful. Just beautiful. Congratulations and I agree – music is soul satisfying.
Thank you for your comment! I’m very happy!!
Beautiful playing and love your song
Thank you very much! ! It will be an encouragement for the future.
Beautiful feel and dynamics. I really enjoyed watching your video and reading your story. Very touching and matched the song. Best of luck!
