Hi, my name is Teresa López, I’m from Spain and I started playing drums fourteen years ago.

I have played with different orchestras and groups in which I have played different styles that have made me grow as a musician. Now, I am currently playing with “Séptima Avenida” orchestra, giving private drum lessons and studying music production.

In addition, I have to say that, for me, playing drums is more than just hitting the drums: it’s trying to say what I want to say in the way I can.

Finally, thank you for the initiative of this contest to be able to give visibility to women in music and to be able to participate in it.
