Hello, my name is En- Chia Hsu, I come from Taiwan, I am indigenous people of Taiwan, belongs to the tribe of Paiwan, my indigenous name is Senay. I started to learn drumming in July, 2018, it’s almost five years. I loves drumming so much, when my mom was pregnant, she said that I was sensitive to the music, because we often touched live music concert, they usually listen different cultural music like Cuba music, Jazz, etc. So, I also love to create rhythms by myself using different tools.
I live in the tribe which surrounding beautiful and natural environment, in Paiwan culture also has wonderful ancient tunes, these help me getting much more emotions in my hitting. I also like playing football, I am one the football player at my school and often join in the competitions, this also increases my coordination.
I am so happy to join in Hit Like A Girl again, let more people appreciate my drumming through this platform. In the future, I will do my best to learn music in the attitude of happy and positive. And I will continue to push myself on the way.
