I’m 15 years old from Atlanta, GA, and have been drumming since I was 9. I grew up listening to great music (shout out to my parents), like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and decided I wanted to be as cool as Chad Smith. My favorite band is Gang of Youths, and my favorite drummer is Stewart Copeland, hands down.

I chose to cover ‘Ain’t Talking Bout Love’ by Van Halen for my submission because a few months ago, I played it in the Hair Metal season band at my School of Rock. I had such a blast playing it, and wanted to continue to improve on it.
