My name is Julia Gilmore, I am 17 years old and I started drumming when I was 13. I started playing drums after being inspired by watching my older cousin play them, and because I have always loved the rhythm. I play drums at my church and in my high school’s jazz band. I like trying out new genres of music and one of my favorite bands is Maverick City Music. One of my drum influences is Steve Jennings who always continues to help me improve my drumming skills.
