Mabel Adams (@mabelondrums on Instagram) is 7 years old and started drumming just over a year ago at the age of 6. Mabel really wanted to play music with her older sister, Ruby Golden Tiger (@rubygoldentiger on Instagram), who plays the electric bass, and Dad (who is a music teacher and plays alto saxophone) and decided that she wanted to be the drummer in the family. With the encouragement and support from Ruby and her family, Mabel has been passionately learning drumming styles from many of her favorite soul, rock, and pop artists – including Blu DeTiger, Larkin Poe, and Bon Jovi. She also started jamming with Ruby and they have played songs together by Mary J. Blige, The Gap Band, Mariah Carey and Al Green.
Mabel cares deeply about animals, the ocean, and nature. She strongly believes that nothing is off limits for girls.
