Hi, my name is Madison Ross and I’ve been playing drums for a year and a half. This is my second year doing Hit Like A Girl. I recently joined the Pro Band Program at Rockstars of Tomorrow, and formed a band called Mechanical Melody. We’ve been together for roughly 6 months and do live performances regularly. I now also play bass in my school’s jazz band. I started my musical journey when I was 6 years old. I played many different instruments growing up such as piano, guitar, bass, and vocals. It has been a year and a half since taking my first trial drum lesson, and it all took off from there. Along with music I like to maintain high physical fitness using martial arts. I currently have achieved a black belt in Taekwondo and made it through blue belt in Karate. I chose the songs Welcome to the Black Parade and Helena because I like the bands’ drummer; Robert Cory Bryar’s playing style.
