My name is Prudence Power and I am 12 years old. I have been playing the drums since I was around 4. I take lessons at Planet Drum and have joined The Round House Camden Young Creatives where I get to play in a band with other children my age. Before that I played with Camden Music School.

The main goal I have is to become a drum teacher as I think I can have a big impact on future generations of children who want to enjoy music. My main hobbies are reading – I love all genres! and drawing as well as my drumming.

My Grandad brings me potatoes from his garden in Ireland as my favourite food is roast potatoes and nowhere has better potatoes than Ireland!

I have chosen to play Mr Brightside by the Killers, the reason I have picked this song is because I find it to be an uplifting song and I made a deal with my mum and dad – I told them if I learned the song they would have to set their wedding date and I would play it as their ‘first song’

I am really excited to join this community and find other girl drummers like myself that I can connect with.
