Hi everyone, I’m Sunny! I’ve been playing drums for about 6 years now, and it’s become an essential part of my life. In addition to playing drumset, I’m also on my school drumline, so rudimentary and marching percussion has become a huge part of my life in the last year or so. I chose the track I did – Before I Forget by Slipknot – mostly because I was looking to cover a pretty epic drum part, and especially wanted something with a double bass drum part in it too. I’ve found myself influenced by a ton of super cool drummers, and a lot of them are insane at playing double bass, which has really inspired me to want to learn it too. Some of by biggest drumming inspirations are Luke Holland, Larnell Lewis, and Zack Graybeal (ZackGrooves on YouTube). I love each of their unique, distincive playing styles, and find myself drawn to different aspects of each of their signature styles.
