Hi! I’m Violet, and I’m 13 years old. I started drumming when I was 6 years old because I loved listening to other great musicians on the radio and wanted to be musically included too. My heroes would have to be Taylor Hawkins and Cliff Burton (RIP they were amazing musicians). Bands that have influenced me are Muse, Metallica, Green Day, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Primus, Slayer, The Killers, Black Sabbath, and many more. I’m left handed, yet I was taught and play on a right handed kit. I also skateboard, play bass, and sing. I have made an impact on others through skateboarding, by skating the Grind for Life Series contests which raises money for people with cancer. I also volunteer every summer at the Jupiter Skate Park with Locals Surf Shop to teach local kids how to skateboard. I enjoy computer coding classes at school and aspire to go to college for IT / Computer Science. My song choice is “Four Horsemen” by Metallica, it’s a fun song to play for me.
