Hello everyone! My name is Olga, but everyone knows me under the pseudonym “EveR”. I’ve already participated in “Hit like a girl” twice. Why such a pseudonym? I have been listening to metal since I was 4 years old and have always been interested in creativity and music. I used to play the piano and draw, but when I was 13 years old I became interested in the metal band Avenged Sevenfold. And I’ve had a favorite drummer since then, James Sullivan (The Rev). I sat until the morning in the summer, and watched their concert “Live in The LBC 2008”. At that moment I was looking at James and thinking “How am I worse than him?” and in the morning I told my mother that I wanted to be a drummer. James died on December 28, 2009 and in the networks there were photos in memory of James “foREVer” from this I made myself the nickname “forEVER” and I really want to be like him.

I’ve been playing drums since I was 13, I’m 18 now. I come from Ukraine, in the capital city, Kyiv. I learned to play in the Skysticks studio, with a wonderful teacher Viktor Gerchev (I am very grateful to him). Almost all the training in Ukraine was coronavirus and the last year there is a war so my training was delayed for a long time. But at the age of 17, I was accidentally found by the band “Reminder of Mortality”. To be honest, I didn’t even think about the band at the time. But I accepted their offer to be their drummer.

We are constantly editing songs, and we decided to make songs not as an assembly line, but qualitatively but for a long time. We’ve never been on stage yet but we’re striving every day. For this contest, I decided to play our song called “Nightmare”. Despite the terrible war in my country, we continue to develop and will not give up!
