I have been playing the drums for over 15 years, and throughout my journey as a musician, I have explored various genres of music, each leaving its unique mark on my drumming style.

As a young girl, I was always interested in the sounds and rhythms my Syrian-immigrant grandfather would play on the doumbek, a Middle Eastern hand drum. Watching him play inspired me to explore percussion instruments, and it wasn’t long before I found my way to the drums.

Since then, I have immersed myself in music. From elementary school band to middle school band, high school band, and finally university bands, I have enjoyed every step of the journey.

As a full-time university student, I balance my studies with my passion for music, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I believe that music is not just a hobby but a vital part of my identity, and it has taught me discipline, teamwork, creativity, and perseverance.
