My name is Allegra Care`, I’m from Perth Western Australia & I am 10 years old.
When I was younger I had a passion for music, always singing, dancing and playing.
At the age of 3 I was already telling everyone that I wanted to play drums & be a drummer and for my 4th birthday I wanted a drum kit.
On my 4th birthday my family surprised me with an electronic drum kit and I’ve been on them ever since.
I have been receiving drum lessons from very supportive & encouraging drum teacher Frank Celenza (ex. Drummer from Australian band Baby Animals). I look forward to my weekly lessons, learning new things, pushing me, challenging myself & having fun.
I love and appreciate a variety of styles of music but my favourite artist is Orianthi, a fellow female Australian guitarist, singer, songwriter that inspires me to be the best that I can be & hopefully as she has done, play with many great musicians around the world.
The name Allegra means joyful (Happy) & when I’m sitting behind my drums this could not be more true. I love to play & bring joy & happiness to those that watch & hear me play.
Music is my happy place & drums gives me the opportunity to share my passion & love for music whilst expressing myself and encouraging other young girls to dream big. With the support of my family & friends all over the world ill continue to be the best that I can be & smile every day. #DREAMBIG
