Carolina Perez  is a metal/hard rock drummer originally from Medellin Colombia that has been  living in the United States for over 23 years now, She is as an extreme metal drummer known for her fast double bass abilities as well as her fast blast. She is currently active in two death metal bands, Hypoxia and Castrator, both of which are about to release full length albums followed by full promotion and extensive touring.

Carolina’s drumming is heavily influenced by JoJo Mayer, Buddy Rich, Mr. George Lawrence Stone, Mickey Dee, Nicko McBrain, Max Kolesne, Steve Asheim, Eric Moore, Lille Gruber, Lars Ulrich, and Phil “Philthy Animal” among others.
