I picked up the sticks and thought back to all the times I walked passed the drums and knew one day I would play. And I’ve been playing since May, 2018.
I started playing drums in church, and now sit in with a local band or two.
Playing the song ‘Come As You Are’ allowed me to step outside my comfort zone by working on both beat and tempo. It’s still a work in progress for me but I’ve enjoyed the challenge thus far.

I remember you from another year. I can see you have been practicing and are really confident in your entry. We’re always a “work in progress.” After I recorded I immediately thought of 3 “mistakes” I got myself out of. But my instructor of 12 years states there are no mistakes, just a creative ways of on-the-spot changes. Liked your smile at the end. Whew….. its over.
