Hi! My name is Gabrielle O’Neill and I am so excited about entering Hit Like a Girl for the third time! As a 13-year-old who loves playing the drums I also enjoy watching other entries. I’ve chosen to play Dixie Dregs “The Great Spectacular” for my entry because of the different grooves, transitions, and fills in the song. Drumming gives me power to express, power to create, and power to influence. I drum also because it is just so much fun and the world disappears around me. My dream is to become an influential drummer. I hope that my drumming will enable others to momentarily forget the chaos of the world and inspire positive change.
