Hi! My name is Mio Crilley. I attend Novi High School in Novi, Michigan, U.S. I am 16 years old and have played drum set since I was around 10, when I picked up percussion instruments for the first time in school. Since then, playing the drums has been an outlet for expressing creativity, developing chops, and shaping my skills as an overall musician. Growing up, I never let myself being a girl affect the choice I made of learning how to play the drums. Instead, I fell in love with being behind the set, and I know thousands of other girls feel the way I do too. I hope every afraid, nervous young female drummer out there knows to love themselves and the art of the drum set!
