Hi, my name is Rada. I am 5 years old. I have one big brother called Chavin who is 10 years old. When I was young, I often watched and listened to him playing on his drums. I started playing on his drum set when I was just 2 years old. However, its size was too big for me. My mother noticed that I love to grab the drum sticks and play the drums everyday so she kindly decided to buy me my very own drum set.

I wanted to play the drums like my brother because he is my hero drummer, I look up to him and he is also my first drum teacher.

My mom started taking me to drumming lessons with drum teachers when I was around 4 years old. I always try to play songs like my brother and I have also learnt more drum skills from watching YouTube.

Me and my mom have started making my own YouTube channel called “Rada Drums” to showcase my talents, inspire other boys and girls to play drums and to improve my drum skills.

I am just a little girl who loves to play drums. When I play, it makes me feel bigger and it also fills my heart with joy. I believe that my drumming can connect everyone across the world and my little drumming sound can make you smile. If music can save the world and make it a better place, I want to be a part of it; I’m on it!

This is my first time entering the ‘Hit Like A Girl’ drum contest. I chose the song “Bloody Mary” (Speed Up) – Lady Gaga, which is one of my favourite songs from the Netflix TV show ‘Wednesday’. I really love this song. I hope you enjoy watching me play, have fun everyone!
