Hello, my name is Sofia Escobedo and I’m 9 years old. I’ve been playing drums for 2 1/2 yrs at the School of Rock in Elk Grove CA. My drum teacher (Travis Drumm) is my inspiration. Cindy Blackman Santana and Sheila E are just some of my heroes (and hope I one day meet them). My goal is to inspire and help others find their happy place, the same way I found mine, behind a drumset. Music feeds that happy place.
