I’m a 46yr old mum of 3 daughters. I started learning the drums at school but never perused them. I picked up the sticks again over a year ago and my aim was to learn Take Me back from noiseworks. I’ve learnt that and have now set my sights on performing it live with my friends band hopefully one day when I ah e the confidence!

You were spot on with the beat even after the crashes. Good job! I loved your “I did it!” at the end whether on purpose or not. If time, listen to my entry as I emphatically shouted, “Girls can drum” for emphasis, just like you. (By the way: I recorded during the pandemic in my home “drum room” and set the recording camera on the top of a ladder to enable a better view of my sticks and me. Just an idea when you enter again NEXT YEAR! 🙂

Tammy is a true testament that drumming and or playing music is open to everyone. This is fantastic that you have given the time to learn this song. But most of all you are having the best time doing it, that’s what playing music is all about, food for the soul.
