My name is Anna Koniotou and I am located in a small wonderful island called Cyprus. Drums have been a big part of my life since I was little and was very impactful to my future. I was playing drums since I was 10 years old and I still continue it today, by having my own studio where I teach students while also focusing on providing content to my YouTube channel.
The chosen song was meant to push my limits to the next level and introduce myself to a new style of drumming. Furthermore, I feel that this song will be a good choice for the contest to bring variety while also showing what my knowledge and skills throughout the years are capable of.
My main influencers would be Carter Beauford, Matt Garstka, Eric Moore and many more, due to their uniqueness in playing. I personally admire all drummers because each artist shares their own touches and imaginations while also bringing them to life through drumming. This has inspired me to make my own touches to the canvas and bring my experiences to life through exploration and research of various genres.
My future goal would be to continue sharing my passion of drumming to the world so I can be heard and to push people to never give up on their dreams by giving them power and positivity 😄.
