Hey!
My name is Hattie, and I am a drummer from Somerset, UK. I started drumming around 8 years ago and it’s been my passion ever since. I am currently a student, in my 3rd year of a chemistry degree at the University of Warwick, but outside of studying I have played a major role in the university’s band society as secretary and welfare officer. I thoroughly enjoyed organising and running events, as well as promoting inclusivity within the society. My biggest drumming inspirations are Nate Smith and Benny Greb, and my favourite bands are Nubiyan Twist and Vulfpeck. My favourite genre is funk!
My entry is a cover of one of my favourite funk bands, Tower Of Power. I chose to cover the track “What Is Hip?”.

Nice cover of one of my favorite funk songs by my favorite band. My favorite drummer, of course, is Dave Garibaldi of ToP. Never heard of the drummers or bands you mention, but will check them out.
